I installed the app and tried to install the printer without cable but it didnt work in IOS and Mac! Very disappointed!

Simple download and found my printer straight away. Printed PDFs first time straight from the attachments within an email. Used MB2200 printer which was new.

Why make an app so hard to use. The printer works great but you complicate it by using this app. Here is what this user and every other user would like to simply do. Print what is on our screen without having to do a process through your app!!! Plus your app changes the format of the document. Ie. Word document.... I am selling this printer so I no longer have to deal with this headache of a an app. Start listening to your users. Shame!

Works well when connected by cable to a netbook or laptop. Does not work wirelessly;have worked on this for hours. False advertising.

In the scanner section there is no option for legal paper scanning...! This has caused me serious down time & productivity

In the beginning when setting up your printer with the app, all is fine. But then when I went to search for a printer, it wouldnt find my printer no matter how much time went by. Now does "please wait momentarily" not mean what I thought it does? Next printer Im getting is definitely an HP because at least those can connect easily to IPhones and have apps that actually work

Just wanted to see ink level and cartridge types. Printer settings screen is blank other than IP and MAC address.

Everything had worked flawlessly with this printer until it was time to test the mobile printing. The app simply refuses to recognize my printer. It has been in searching mode for hours. Ive tried closing and opening the app as well as deleting and redownloading the app to no avail. Not cool to offer and advertise something that doesnt work.

Un-mitigated disaster. How to make something easy, hard. Then spend hours trying to find a solution.

I installed the app, opened it, from a list I chose the printer I wanted to connect to, then went online and opened a web page, then printed a document. Could not have been simpler.

This is the first time I have ever written a review for any app. I did so out of frustration. Whats up with this? I have a G3000. If a huge company such as Canon is going to build an app for their product, why in the heck would it be so complex? Do they assume everyone buying their product is tech savvy? Jeez, come on, Canon. How about putting someone in charge of your app who can simplify the navigation procedures? I imagine there are a slew of customers who still cant figure out the needed procedures to utilize this to its full potential. It is a great company, but, man. Someone dropped the ball on this one, no doubt!

Just got a MG2920. I was hoping to finally be able to print documents from my mobile device is as well as from my computer. I am literally spent hours trying to figure how to use this app to print my documents on my printer. I couldnt figure out why none of the documents for showing up on my device or icloud. The breakthrough came when I read one of the reviews mentioning documents had to be in a PDF format to print. Thats a pain. I wouldve given this app a 1 star rating if it wasnt for that I was able to scan pretty easily and saved my mobile devices.

The title says everything. After one night of struggeling, the app keeps trying to find my printer. The help section us useless. It says something like: "do a manual setting" and then, if you really want to know how, well, its ellementary my dear Watson, "just go to the printer and set it up manually". Period. Thats all the help you get.

I deeply regret buying my Canon Pixma MG7750 as despite its claimed specs, it is not possible to achieve a useable scan with SELPHY. I didnt think even Canon capable of launching such a useless driver and they really have produced some duds in their time. It amazes me to find that using the MG7750 with a top end iPad Pro for photographic work is a non starter, forget it. The resolution achieved is so low that you could pick individual pixels off with a JCB digger. Shame on you Canon, this driver is not fit for purpose.

Why my MG3510 (that I brought TODAY) doesnt have the Cloud Service?

Thank you, Canon for putting this out there and for making such a great printer. This app works as advertised, with no glitches or problems. The app is great and the Canon 470 series is likewise, great. If youre looking for an easy printing solution...this is the place to find it. LOVE IT!!!

Cant print from websites, cant print from clipboard, although it says it prints documents it wont print any of the PDFs I have. So basically it does just the same as AirPrint. Pointless app. The old Brother printer and app I use to have did all of this and more. Canon really needs to step it up.

Purchased this printer solely for printing from iPhone. Followed instructions on CD for laptop and does print wirelessly from it. Had to download PIXMA app to use wirelessly from handheld devices, but could not get iPad to even recognize printer, and even when got iPhone to recognize the printer model, it said failed to communicate with printer when trying to print pictures out of app, Could not print any emails or documents from them directly since printer is not accessible from emails or notes and when try and print out of the app, it says no documents available. Piece of crap printer, wasted day trying to set it wirelessy but is too late for you too if you are reading this review as you would not download the app unless youve already bought the damn printer!!!
