Canon PRINT App Reviews

This by far is the worst app/printer setup ever. Nothing works!!!!!!! Its sad coming from a product line I once held in high regard.

I cant even use my selphy anymore because it keeps telling me wrong size. No matter what I try!! Frustrated!!!

If I could give a no star rating I would. The old app worked. This one doesnt. I also get cannot communicate with printer error. No one seems to know how to fix it. Weve eradicated polio, gone to the moon and created Star Wars...why can you make an app that works? Boooo!

I dont have a clue what everyone is not happy with in this app. If youre complaining youre obviously not electronic or computer savvy. This app works flawlessly and great!

You cant manually select the paper tray. I just printed a bunch of photos from my bed on the wrong page size. Jesus effing Christ Canon youre a technology company!

I cant even print an email from my iPhone thanks to this horrible app.

Im not a computer wiz but I just followed the instructions step by step read the little side notes and it worked first try. Printed a doc from my phone to the printer and had no wifi. Just saying maybe slow down when your setting it up and it just might work for you too. Maybe?

Im not going to list the problems I have with this software. Many are mentioned in other reviews, and a complete list would take much more time than I care to spend. If they *have* a Quality Assurance department, Im sure theyd have advised against releasing it like this. Frankly, all I wanted from it was a feature mentioned more than once in the description. I wanted it to tell me how much ink is left in which cartridge and the part numbers of the cartridges. (Yes, I know I could push buttons on the printer to find that info, but I had planned to grab a screenshot and print it for my wife to use when she dropped by the store.) Well, regardless of what the description says, I cant find it. Anywhere. So, either the description here in the store is inaccurate, or Ive read it wrong or its buried somewhere behind a poorly thought out interface or some other unrelated feature. So, at least for the purpose I intended, it was useless.

Easy set up and use! But why is the only print option format a 4x6? I should be able to select all the options avail on the machine from my iPhone! Is there a different app I should use for Selphy c910?

This app saved me the trouble when I tried to scan something and I was missing the usb cable. As long as your mobile device and printer on the same network you wouldnt have issues.. All functions working just fine after I fixed the network situation.
