Printer MG2920 useless wirelessly

Purchased this printer solely for printing from iPhone. Followed instructions on CD for laptop and does print wirelessly from it. Had to download PIXMA app to use wirelessly from handheld devices, but could not get iPad to even recognize printer, and even when got iPhone to recognize the printer model, it said failed to communicate with printer when trying to print pictures out of app, Could not print any emails or documents from them directly since printer is not accessible from emails or notes and when try and print out of the app, it says no documents available.
Piece of crap printer, wasted day trying to set it wirelessy but is too late for you too if you are reading this review as you would not download the app unless youve already bought the damn printer!!!
