Extremely hard to navigate/no instructions

I put in the dimensions for photos that I want printed, and it never comes out correct. They are either too short or too small.
How the heck do you add stuff to the documents section of the app so you can print documents? I can find no information online on how to do this and there is no help in the app. This is a very frustration app&printer.
